No News from the Batasan about RH Bill

I was scanning radio and television stations for possible talks about RH Bill but I found nothing. The lawmakers are currently busy talking about the fate of the former president now Pampanga Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo especially about the second hand helicopter bought by the PNP which are allegedly owned by the the Arroyo family.

I just wish that they will resume talking about the RH Bill before it will be forgotten by them.

An Anti-Condom man Told me I am immoral

This evening, I bought a pack of condom that I should use whenever my wife and I will do the husband and wife activity. Now, when the sales girl of a certain drug store here handed over the item I bought, the man besides me told me that I am immoral.

I asked him why. And he said that it's because I am using condom which is an immoral device.

I asked him again why. Why he considered condom immoral? He simply said that God prohibits man to use condom because it kills.

I smiled and asked him again: How did you know that condom kills?

He said that scientists and experts said that condom can cause abortion.

I laugh and told him: I think, it's not the scientists and experts who told you that condom can cause abortion. I know about it because no scientists would tell you that condom can cause abortion. The ones who said that it can cause abortion are only those who do not know how to handle their own family because they don't have their families since their church prohibits them to marry. Besides, these people are mostly gays. So how could you believe them when they say that condom is abortifacient?

I told him, to do a little research before talking.

Church-Goers Walk-out from the Mass

It was reported in many news websites that churchgoers in Baguio Cathedral after the priests said in his homily and told the churchgoers that if they support RH Bill, they should go out form the church. And so what the churchgoers did.

Bishop Carlito Cenzon of the Diocese of Baguio has ordered an investigation into the reported walkout of pro-reproductive health bill advocates during mass. Cenzon said the walkout was said to have been triggered by the homily of the officiating priest. The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) opposes the passage of the reproductive health bill. Cenzon said there is a need to look into the homily, in which the priest reportedly asked churchgoers to leave if they support the bill. The bishop said priests are governed by general guidelines when delivering homilies. But he declined to comment on whether the priest will be meted sanctions if he is found to have violated the guidelines. 

If  the Catholic Church will be act hard to its members, then I think, priests will lose big income considering that priests earns a percentage of the collected funds through the Mass offering made by the Catholics.

I have friend who are now considered themselves as atheist. It seems that they excommunicated their own from the Roman Catholic Church. With this, the church will fall if it fails to unite all its members.

I Support RH Bill

Like what the title of this blog suggest, I am pro-RH Bill. I support the passing into law of the RH Bill in contrast to what the Roman Catholic Church did.

I am Catholic but they priests taught me to believe that they are liars. They are saying that condom is abortifacient when in fact scientifically it is not.

The Pope who is the head of the Roman Catholic Church has been introduced to the Catholics as the man who doesn't commit errors. However, it is a big error when the Church through the Pope excommunicated Galileo who revealed through his scientific observation that it is the earth which is the one that revolves around the sun in contrast to the Church's belief that the sun revolves around the earth.

Now, another erroneous declaration was made by the Church by saying that condoms are abortifacient.

So, now is the time to follow what Jose Rizal did. Let's us not follow the priests. If priests are liars including the Pope, then how can we call the Church run by these people?
